Magdy Hanna

Mr. Magdy Hanna is the Chief Executive Officer for Hanna Housing Inc. Magdy brings over 31 years of real estate development and mortgage banking experience to Hanna Housing.

Prior to Hanna Housing, Magdy was president of Clear Vision Consulting Inc. and was responsible for entitling apartment developments for major tax credit developers, Kaufman and Broad, Simpson Housing and Global Premier Development. He also negotiated equity investments used for the development and the financing  of affordable multi-family housing.

Magdy has entitled over 100  projects consisting of over 4,000 units throughout the years.  Over $1.5 Billion of development within 53 developments were completed. This created housing for more than 5,000 elderly and family residents. Magdy’s experience includes receiving tax credit allocations in excess of $780 million, soft financing allocations of over $180 million and various grants and other financing vehicles of over $30 million.

His success in cities and counties throughout California has been exemplary.  He has also developed and entitled all types of real estate including assisted living facilities and a medical office building. Magdy received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Helwan  School of Business in Egypt with additional studies at the London School of Economics in London, England while working as an accountant with  John Dewar’s & Sons whisky distillers in their London Office in England.
